What is the event?
"A World at Prayer is a World at Peace®: The Rosary Bowl" is a Rosary celebration for world peace. It is an invitation to join the community in public prayer for the needs of all families, for our communities for our nation and for the whole world.
Rosary Bowl NW began in October 2007 and has become an annual event on the first Saturday in October. October is traditionally observed as "The Rosary" month and "Respect Life" month. Rosary Bowl NW is a non-profit corporation 501c3 status. Donations to the Rosary Bowl NW are tax deductible. Please contact us for donation and sponsorship opportunities.
When and where is the event?
Location this year is at the East Salem Community Center, 1850 45th Ave NE, Salem. We meet on Saturday, October 5th, 2024. We gather on the first Saturday of the month of October annually.
Why is the event being held?
The Rosary Bowl is being held in order to encourage Catholics and others to enhance their faith through prayer of the Rosary. Twenty-eight million people world-wide have attended 40 such events organized and conducted by Servant of God Father Peyton, now a sainthood candidate, over four decades and found them to be great experiences of the Christian community.
The Rosary Bowl seeks:
* To enhance the prayer lives of our families, ourselves and our communities;
* To strengthen unity in our homes and communities
* To foster world peace
What is the cost of admission?
It’s FREE & Free Parking! A collection will be taken at The Rosary Bowl NW to help defray the expenses of this event. Donations can be made by: mailing it to Rosary Bowl NW, PO Box 20023 Keizer OR 97307 or by calling 503-851-3111. Your donations are tax deductible. Thank you!

Will communion be given?
Yes at Holy Mass. All are invited!
What mysteries will be prayed?

Will I need to bring my Rosary?
Yes, if it is helpful to you in saying The Rosary, but it is not required. We will have free rosaries available!
Can I get my Rosary or religious articles blessed?
We cannot guarantee a general blessing on religious articles. You are encouraged to ask your parish priest to bless your religious articles.
Will there be religious items for sale at the event?
Yes, an array of products enhancing prayer and understanding of the Rosary will be available for purchase at the event. Visit the community resource tables in the Parish Hall during the Rosary Bowl.
Is the event limited to Catholics?
No, the event is free and open to all people of faith or no faith background. Come with an open heart to receive God's grace and mercy through the heart of The Blessed Virgin Mary.
What is the recommended form of travel?
All parishes and groups are encouraged to coordinate attendance by bus so that you can enjoy this experience as a group.
How can I organize a bus for my church group or for my parish?
Call a chartered bus company or parish school buses.
Is there reserved seating?
No
Will there be handicap parking and seating?
Look for the ushers in the Church if you require special seating.
Will food and water be available?
Some refreshments will be available, however you are encouraged to bring your own food.
Will there be an emergency First Aid station?
The RBNW staff will provide a First Aid / Emergency Station.
Are washrooms available?
Restrooms are available.
Are there designated hotels/motels for overnight accommodations?
We have not special designations. Please look into accommodations in the Salem/Keizer area.
How can I make an individual, financial contribution?
We encourage individual contributions, which can be made online using your credit card at the Rosary Bowl NW Web Page or by a check, payable to:
