The origins of Rosary Bowl NW date back to 2007.  In the summer of that year Joyce Wells of the Marian Prayer Center and Lisa Walker of WalkingWord LLC approached Dina Marie Hale of KBVM Catholic Radio to consider teaming up to organize a Rosary event similar to one that was held in Pasadena CA that year honoring the now Venerable Rosary Priest Father Patrick Peyton, CSC. 
With a few months to go the three gathered their resources and with the support of the Archdiocese of Portland and Bishop Kenneth Steiner and the hospitality of Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer the 1st annual Rosary Bowl NW event. 
Several groups have joined as volunteers and organizers of the annual event including: The Marian Prayer Center, WalkingWord LLC, Mater Dei Radio, Oregon Right to Life, Oregon Knights of Columbus, Divine Mercy Our Lady of Fatima Crusade, World Apostolate of Fatima Portland Division, The Rosary Center and the Legion of Mary. 
We are grateful for this volunteer army of prayer warriors who all wish to spread our Catholic Faith and to encourage devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, especially to promote daily family prayer of the rosary. 

We pray for our bishops, priests, deacons and religious!
